Meet Hanna Wood, the vibrant Executive Sous Chef at Rick Erwin’s Greer. Growing up just 20 minutes from downtown Greer, Hanna has been deeply rooted in the community her entire life.

Her biggest role models are her parents, who instilled in her the values of perseverance, pursuing one’s passions, and striving for excellence from a young age. Hanna embarked on her journey in the restaurant industry at the age of 16, starting as a host and gradually working her way up through various roles.

From learning the ropes as a server to navigating different kitchen positions, including dishwasher, expo, and prep, Hanna honed her skills and discovered her true passion for cooking and leadership. In 2020, she joined The Strip Club 104 restaurant, where she spent the next three years as the owner’s right hand, further developing her culinary expertise and leadership acumen.

Hanna’s culinary journey with Rick Erwin’s began on March 6, 2023, when she joined as a Sous Chef. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that from the first to the last bite, every guest leaves the table full, happy, and with a smile on their face, eagerly anticipating their return for more.
